16 today, and it only a seems like yesterday I could hold her in my hand. She’s grown up to be even more independent than we could have ever imagined. That’s a good thing. No need for another dirty male figure. Those days of watching “Dora the Explorer” and every single Disney movie featuring a princess and gardening with grandma are long gone. She’s intelligent and beautiful and has nothing but a bright future ahead, because anything she wants to do, she’s done. (Stubbornness and persistence aren’t foreign to my kids; well, at least 1 & 3.
